Job Purpose

To oversee the maintenance of all MEP systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards while managing the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Manage and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for all MEP systems to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Ensure HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems operate efficiently and comply with factory and safety standards.
• Oversee the maintenance of HVAC components, including valves, pumps, compressors and electrical controls.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and control schematics for system maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections and repairs.
• Provide management with regular reports on system performance, downtime and any issues that need attention.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in MEP system maintenance.
• Stay updated on new technologies and techniques to enhance the efficiency and reliability of MEP systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement upgrades or changes to improve system performance.
• Train subordinates and form a team to complete work effectively.
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate tasks to subordinates in each respective assignment.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve related problems and elevate complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes.
• Coordinate well‑defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities where possible.
• Comply with related policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance of safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work.
