Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Bridge Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work within a new PMO working on major highways / infrastructure projects in the KSA Capital, Riyadh City.

• Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately. Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings.
• Prepares engineering computations, design details and engineering exhibits.
• Completes a variety of assignments such as in-depth reviews of drawings, specifications, and other documents at concept and detailed design stages with emphasis on interfaces with other Engineering disciplines.
• Prepares cost-benefit analyses comparing different design options and makes recommendations on same.
• Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.
• Prepares and delivers presentations on complex bridge design matters.
• May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on bridge engineering related matters.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Master’s Degree desirable.
• 15 years of solid bridge design experience with particular emphasis on post-tensioned box girder bridges in multi-level urban interchanges. Experience in design of steel plate and box girder bridges, bridge foundations design, retaining walls and box culverts.
• Experience in reviewing third party designs and coordinating comments for approval.
• Experience of working within a multi-discipline team environment.
• Proactive approach to own activities and helping in other disciplines, as far as practically possible, to assist in PMO overall efficiency.
• Good presentation and communication skills.

• Previous experience of working in a design consultancy and/or PMC/PMO.
• Charted (or similar) status with an industry recognized engineering body.
• Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience managing large tasks and/or projects.
