Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA / QC Engineer MEP to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects throughout the region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for MEP systems
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards
  • Review and approve MEP drawings, submittals, and technical documentation
  • Identify and report quality issues, proposing corrective actions and preventive measures
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall quality
  • Prepare detailed QA/QC reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Stay updated on local and international MEP standards and regulations, including the Saudi Building Code (SBC)
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on quality assurance best practices
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in QA/QC for MEP projects
  • Proficiency in MEP systems and standards, with in-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems
  • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and international standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations, particularly the Saudi Building Code (SBC)
  • Experience in construction site inspections and audits
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office suite
  • Professional certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA) preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites within the region
