Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QC Engineer to oversee quality control activities across Blue’s projects, including MEP works, swimming pools, water features, fountains, and associated civil works.

The QC Engineer will ensure that all works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project requirements, international standards, and local regulations, while maintaining high-quality workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

• Implement and monitor Quality Control procedures across all project phases.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure proper execution of MEP works, pool systems, water features, and civil works.
• Identify non-conformities and issue NCRs; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including ITPs, checklists, inspection reports, and test records.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings from a quality perspective.
• Maintain organized records of inspections, approvals, and quality-related correspondence.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports for management.

• Witness and verify testing activities (pressure tests, water tightness tests, electrical tests, commissioning of pumps and control systems).
• Ensure testing is conducted as per approved procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with project teams and consultants during inspections, testing, and handover stages.

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Liaise with consultants and clients during inspections and snag‑list closures.
• Support project handover and final acceptance processes.

• Ensure compliance with project quality plans, ISO standards, and company policies.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to quality.
• Identify recurring quality issues and recommend improvements to construction and installation processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
• 3–7 years of experience as a QC Engineer, preferably in MEP, pools, water features, or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, pool equipment, piping, pumps, filtration systems, and electrical controls.
• Knowledge of international standards (ISO, ASTM, BS, NEC, etc.) and Saudi regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in QA/QC documentation and inspection processes.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, reporting).
