Lead Mechanical Engineer - Animal Feed
Location: Saudi Arabia
Base pay range: SAR 50,000 – SAR 60,000 per year
Experience: 5+ years in maintenance engineering within the animal feed or poultry industry
Qualification: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Job Description:
- Deep understanding of machinery used in animal feed production and poultry facilities (feeders, incubators, pellet mills, conveyors, etc.)
- Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment failures.
- Proven experience creating and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
- Familiarity with poultry farm equipment such as ventilation systems, heating units, feeding systems, and water distribution systems.
- Expertise in maintaining safety and regulatory compliance in feed and poultry production environments.
- Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and industrial controls is a plus.
- Proficiency in [Specify Languages] for effective communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Strong experience managing and training maintenance teams.
- Ability to use maintenance management software to track performance, downtime, and maintenance history.
