Testing & Protection Engineer

• Review engineering drawing, schemes for electrical SRMU, single line diagram
• Conduct Routine test for MV products
• Conduct protection relay setting and testing.
• Review and check new product scheme, prepare mark up
• Coordinate with design & production for readiness of new design sample
• Coordinate with supplier for new device configuration setting
• Test snag list correction to comply client requirement.
• Highlight improvement required in design
• Test new component from new supplier as per SDMS guideline to approve new component provided by procurement.
• Provide training to team member for new setting and program
• Attend site troubleshooting in case of requirement and unavailability of service engineer
• Follow safety guideline as per company policy during testing.
• Provide training to client reading new product testing procedure and best practices.
• Prepare routine test report for tested FG.
• Follow and support dept. manger instruction

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of experience in testing and production of MV switch gear, preferably in a factory environment.
• Strong knowledge of MV switch gear products, protection relays, and electrical testing procedures.
• Experience in reviewing electrical drawings, schemes, and single line diagrams.
• Familiarity with SDMS guidelines and product approval procedures.
• Hands‑on experience in device configuration, relay setting, and routine testing.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with design, production, and supplier teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting both in the factory and on‑site.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
