The Chemical Product Development Engineer is responsible for researching, formulating, testing, and improving chemical products to meet market, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role involves close collaboration with R&D, production, quality control, and commercial teams to transform concepts into scalable, cost-effective, and high-performance products.
The engineer plays a key role in innovation, optimization of formulations, pilot-scale trials, and supporting industrial scale-up while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
Skills- Strong knowledge of chemical formulation and material science
- Experience in product development and R&D processes
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques
- Understanding of scale-up and industrial manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of quality control and testing methods
- Awareness of chemical safety, MSDS, and regulatory requirements
