Sr. Steel fabrication engineer

On behalf of our client in KSA - Premium Solutions Consultancy is seeking a skilled Steel Fabrication Engineer to join our client's team in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on overseeing the fabrication processes involved in steel construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, quality control, and project timelines.

• Design, develop, and optimize steel fabrication processes and techniques.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise fabrication of steel structures.
• Manage all phases of the fabrication process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Supervise and mentor fabrication teams, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and project deadlines are met.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the fabrication process, addressing any deviations from standards.
• Maintain documentation related to the fabrication process, including reports, specifications, and compliance records.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in steel fabrication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in steel fabrication engineering.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role is a plus.
• familiar with BIMS .
