We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amman, Jordan. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring that all activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills.

As a Planning Engineer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to develop project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed. Your analytical skills will be instrumental in identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software to ensure timely completion of all phases of the project.

Coordinate with project managers and engineers to gather information and establish project timelines and milestones.

Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming tasks.

Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to minimize potential project disruptions.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Facilitate project meetings and workshops to promote collaboration and communication among team members.

Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids, providing accurate estimates of time and resources required.

Maintain up-to-date documentation of project plans, schedules, and changes to ensure transparency and accountability.

Preferred Candidate:

Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or in a similar role within the engineering or construction industry.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
