JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated Vertical Transportation Inspection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection and evaluation of vertical transportation systems, such as elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, used in our construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that these systems comply with safety standards and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our infrastructure developments.
As a Vertical Transportation Inspection Specialist, you will perform detailed inspections, prepare reports, and collaborate with project teams and contractors to address any deficiencies. Your attention to detail and understanding of vertical transportation mechanics will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vertical transportation systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable codes.
- Evaluate the performance and operational efficiency of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation components.
- Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports on compliance, issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams and contractors to address inspection findings and implement necessary improvements.
- Provide expertise and technical guidance on vertical transportation best practices and safety regulations.
- Monitor system installations and ensure adherence to specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and regulations relating to vertical transportation.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior inspection staff as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in vertical transportation system inspection or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of vertical transportation systems, safety standards, and relevant codes (such as ASME A17.1, EN 81, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in conducting inspections and evaluations of elevators and escalators.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying non-compliance and safety issues.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with project teams and document findings effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional certifications in vertical transportation inspection are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of local regulations and practices in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
