Position Overview QA QC Engineer MEP roles with AECOM in Riyadh focus on ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across large-scale construction and building projects. Key Responsibilities    Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems   Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved standards   Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation   Identify quality issues, non-conformances, and risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions   Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical and quality-related issues   Prepare detailed QA QC reports and maintain accurate quality records and documentation   Ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations including the Saudi Building Code   Provide technical guidance and quality assurance support to site teams and stakeholders   Participate in project coordination meetings and communicate quality requirements effectively   Monitor implementation and close-out of corrective actions to ensure sustained compliance  Ideal Profile    Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering   Minimum 15 years of experience in QA QC roles for MEP construction projects   Strong hands-on experience with HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and plumbing installations  Skills Set    In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, quality control methodologies, and inspection procedures   Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and international QA QC standards   Proven experience in construction site inspections and quality audits   Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and construction documentation   Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills   Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment   Professional quality certification is an advantage  About the Company AECOM is a global infrastructure consulting firm delivering professional services in planning, design, engineering, and construction management.
