Position: Director - Transport Planning (MAS5-MDUWFP260156)

Join Qiddiya Investment Company as the Director of Transport Planning and contribute to the development of our visionary entertainment destination. In this key role, you will lead transport planning initiatives to ensure an efficient and integrated transport framework that supports the accessibility and mobility needs of our visitors and residents.

As the Director of Transport Planning, you will be responsible for developing and implementing transport strategies, engaging with stakeholders, and managing teams to create innovative transport solutions that adhere to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the transportation planning process for Qiddiya, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Oversee the preparation of master plans, feasibility studies, and transport models to evaluate transport needs and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and external consultants, to ensure the integration of transport systems with regional networks.
  • Coordinate traffic impact assessments and ensure compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage and mentor transport planning teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Conduct research on emerging transportation technologies and trends to inform planning decisions.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for management and stakeholders to communicate transport planning strategies and recommendations.
  • Lead project updates and revisions, ensuring adaptability to changing project scopes and timelines.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance transport planning practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 12 - 15 years of experience in transport planning with a focus on large-scale urban or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of transport policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to inform decision-making and planning strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of transport planning software and modeling tools.
  • Commitment to sustainable transport practices and innovations.
