Data Architect

Overview

As a Data Architect at Master-Works, you will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy and architecture. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that cater to business needs, ensuring high levels of data availability and reliability. Your expertise in data modeling, database design, and data governance will help drive data-driven decisions within the organization.

• Design and develop robust data models and database architectures that support data analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Implement best practices for data management, including data quality, security, and compliance
• Optimize database performance using advanced tuning and optimization techniques
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources
• Conduct data governance and stewardship activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Lead initiatives to modernize data infrastructure, including the adoption of cloud technologies as required

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Postgre
  
  SQL)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices
• Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica)
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
