About

the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our public‑sector sales team, align our AI product roadmap with market expansion goals, and drive performance against sales KPIs.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to exceed sales targets across the public sector and its subsectors (municipal, education, healthcare, defence, utilities, etc.).
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Mozn’s AI product roadmap and market expansion goals.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, pre‑sales, channel, and product teams to ensure cohesive market engagement.
  • Forecast, monitor, and report on sales performance, pipeline health, and market dynamics.
  • Provide support to the Business Development team during the sales process, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment.
  • Foster a high‑performance sales culture, motivating and inspiring the team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Identify and prioritise key opportunities in the public sector for AI adoption—including smart cities, digital transformation, public safety, and citizen services.
  • Build and nurture executive‑level relationships within ministries, government agencies, regulators, and public enterprises.
  • Drive partnerships and alliances with system integrators, consulting firms, and technology vendors to accelerate market penetration.
  • Negotiate and close large‑scale deals with complex procurement processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a results‑driven sales team specialised in public sector accounts.
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and promote a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Support career development and succession planning within the team.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, competition, and market dynamics to identify potential growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise or public sector sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within the public sector technology or AI domain.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement cycles, RFP processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and managing multimillion‑dollar deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of AI, analytics, data platforms, cloud, or digital transformation solutions.
