• Develop Internal Reports

Data Collection and Analysis:
Gather data from various internal and external sources relevant to customs, zakat, and tax domains. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may impact reporting.

Report Design and Development:
Design comprehensive reports that effectively communicate insights across customs, zakat, and tax domains. Utilize advanced reporting tools and software to create dynamic and interactive reports.

Integration and Automation:
Implement automated data integration processes to ensure timely and accurate report generation. Develop scripts and macros to streamline data processing and report updates.

Documentation and Standardisation:
Document reporting processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and repeatability. Establish standardised templates and formats for internal reports.

• Align Reporting with Strategic KPIs and Department-Level Performance Tracking

KPI Identification and Mapping:
Collaborate with strategic planning teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to customs, zakat, and tax. Map internal reporting metrics to strategic KPIs to ensure alignment with organisational goals.

Performance Monitoring:
Develop dashboards and scorecards to monitor department-level performance against established KPIs. Provide regular updates and insights to management on performance trends and areas for improvement.

• Validate Data Accuracy and Ensure Correct Interpretation of Insights

Data Validation and Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous data validation checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting data. Conduct regular audits and reviews of data sources and reporting processes.

Insight Interpretation and Communication:
Interpret complex data insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Communicate findings clearly and concisely to ensure understanding and facilitate decision-making.

• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to Refine Reports Based on Feedback

Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with business stakeholders to gather feedback on reporting needs and preferences. Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss report enhancements and modifications.

Continuous Improvement:
Implement feedback-driven improvements to reporting processes and outputs. Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends to enhance reporting capabilities.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 6 years of experience in internal reporting, data analysis, or a related field. Proven experience in developing reports within customs, zakat, and tax domains is highly desirable.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong experience in SQL and working with different data warehouse technologies, Teradata experience is a plus. Proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistical methods. Experience with data integration and automation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Soft Skills:
  
  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications:
  
  Relevant certifications in data analytics or reporting (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) are a plus.
