Data Management Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage data processes to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of information throughout the organization.
• Track data health and performance indicators to spot opportunities for enhancement.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy laws and security protocols.
• Assist clients in developing comprehensive data strategies, encompassing data architecture, quality assurance, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure data compliance with local and international regulations.
• Establish overarching frameworks for program execution, including identifying business requirements.
• Track progress of initiatives and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Conduct assessments of data management compliance and produce reports on findings.
• Create and maintain a data catalog with associated data value realization plans, overseeing their execution.
• Oversee the development and implementation of plans for business intelligence and analytics, reference and master data management, data architecture and modeling, document and content management, and data operations.
• Design a template for the data catalog, including a data dictionary and business glossary.
• Create relevant templates for data value realization, such as pricing model templates and charging model templates.
• Develop and modify data as needed.
• Review artifacts related to data architecture.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology.
• Advanced knowledge in data management and governance.
• Ability to lead a data management team.
• Knowledge of alignment with strategic and operational goals.
• Knowledge of relevant technical and national controls and the ability to apply them.
• Good communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to assess compliance and prepare required reports.
• Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and research methods.
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) preferred.
