We are seeking a highly skilled System Admin Expert for one of our biggest clients, a well-known government entity in Riyadh.

The System Admin Expert will manage and optimize ICT and server infrastructure with a focus on Windows Server, VMware virtualization, and Active Directory. The role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of enterprise systems. The expert will also drive best practices for patching, backup & disaster recovery, monitoring, and automation while supporting complex infrastructure projects and ensuring operational continuity.

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization platforms (configuration, monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting).
• Ensure system security, patch management, backup, and disaster recovery processes are implemented and tested.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for reliability and scalability.
• Provide technical escalation and resolution for complex infrastructure incidents.
• Implement automation, scripting, and configuration management to streamline operations.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects, upgrades, and change management.

• Minimum of +10 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar technical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Aviation industry experience is preferred.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, VMware, and Active Directory administration.
• Proven experience managing enterprise server infrastructure, virtualization, backup/DR, monitoring, and patching.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Certifications:
  
  VMware VCP-DCV (Mandatory);
  Microsoft Certified:
  Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (Preferred).
