UI​/UX Designer

About The Role

As a UI/UX Designer at our venture studio, you will be instrumental in shaping the look, feel, and usability of products built across multiple early-stage ventures. You will work across the entire design lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping and high-fidelity execution, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and venture teams to bring new concepts to life.

You will typically focus on one or two ventures at a time, diving deep into specific user problems while applying your experience to ensure best-in-class interaction design and beautiful, usable interfaces. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working at the intersection of creativity, product thinking, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences, from low-fidelity wireframes to polished UI
• Translate product requirements and business goals into intuitive, user-centric designs
• Create and maintain design systems, components, and UI libraries across ventures
• Conduct or support user research, interviews, and usability testing
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ship functional, accessible interfaces
• Advocate for clean UX practices and ensure design decisions are backed by reasoning or data
• Rapidly iterate on prototypes based on feedback from users and internal teams
• Maintain and organize Figma files and documentation for handoff and implementation

What You Will Use

• Design Tools:
  Figma, Fig Jam, Miro
• Prototyping:
  Figma (Prototyping), Principle, Lottie, or similar
• Collaboration:
  
  Notion, Slack, Jira
• Optional:
  Exposure to tools like Webflow, Framer, or basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus

• Designs are consistently intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with user goals
• Clear handoffs to development teams, with minimal rework required
• UX decisions reflect a deep understanding of the user journey and pain points
• Able to balance speed and quality when iterating in early-stage environments
• Takes ownership of the end-user experience across products and design artifacts

What We Are Looking For

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience designing digital products across mobile and web
• Strong portfolio showcasing both UX process and final UI designs
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and turning rough ideas into tangible interfaces
• Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, accessibility, and usability
• Able to give and receive feedback constructively and iterate quickly
• Proactive, independent, and hungry to leave a mark in every product you touch
