Barq Systems is seeking a Network Performance Monitoring Specialist to monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance across enterprise environments. This role is critical for ensuring operational excellence and proactive issue resolution.

As a Network Performance Monitoring Specialist, you will leverage advanced monitoring tools to track network health, detect anomalies, and provide actionable insights. You will build dashboards, generate reports, and support capacity planning to maintain high availability and adherence to SLAs.

• ✓ Monitor network performance using tools such as Solar Winds, App Dynamics, PRTG, or similar platforms.
• ✓ Analyze network traffic, latency, and bandwidth utilization to identify and resolve issues.
• ✓ Build and maintain dashboards and periodic performance reports.
• ✓ Detect anomalies and elevate performance degradations to relevant teams.
• ✓ Support capacity planning and performance tuning activities.
• ✓ Ensure adherence to SLAs and internal monitoring policies.
• ✓ Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring practices.

• ✓ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• ✓ Minimum 5 years of experience in network monitoring or performance analysis.
• ✓ Hands‑on experience with Solar Winds, App Dynamics, PRTG, or equivalent systems.
• ✓ Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, SNMP, routing, switching).
• ✓ Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• ✓ Preferred certifications: CCNA, Solar Winds Certified Professional, or similar.
• ✓ Experience working in enterprise environments is a plus.

• ✓ Familiarity with automation for monitoring and reporting.
• ✓ Knowledge of scripting languages for data analysis.
• ✓ Exposure to cloud‑based monitoring solutions.
• ✓ Strong documentation and reporting skills.
