IT Planning and Strategy Specialist
The IT Planning and Strategy Specialist is responsible for developing, aligning, and driving the organization’s IT strategy in coordination with business objectives and the budget planning. This role plays a critical part in strategic planning, IT portfolio management, and ensuring IT investments deliver value and support long‑term growth. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking, financial knowledge, and business acumen.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business leaders and IT stakeholders to develop and refine the long‑term IT strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Facilitate the development of annual IT plans, roadmaps, and budgets.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure optimal IT investment planning and cost management.
- Analyze technology trends and identify opportunities to leverage innovation for business advantage.
- Maintain and manage the IT project portfolio, ensuring prioritization and alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IT initiatives and strategies using KPIs and performance metrics.
- Support enterprise architecture development and maintain alignment between business processes and technology solutions.
- Contribute to IT governance processes, including risk management, compliance, and policy development.
- Provide research, analysis, and recommendations on emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Prepare and present strategic documents, reports, and presentations for executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT strategy, planning, enterprise architecture, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Budgeting, planning processes, and portfolio management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with planning tools and project/portfolio management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Power BI, Service Now, etc.).
- Experience in digital transformation or strategy management initiatives.
