About the Job

SARsatX is seeking a GIS & AI Presales Specialist who will serve as the critical link between our advanced satellite-driven geospatial technologies and the needs of our clients. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle—translating SARsatX’s capabilities in satellite analytics, AI, and geospatial intelligence into high-impact solutions that address customer challenges across diverse sectors.

This position blends expertise in geospatial systems, AI/ML applications, and business problem-solving to design, validate, and position innovative solutions powered by SARsatX’s cutting‑edge satellite data products and AI platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Discovery

  • Partner with account managers to understand customer goals, pain points, and technical requirements.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, shaping tailored solution architectures built around SARsatX’s satellite and AI capabilities.
  • Conduct discovery workshops and requirements‑gathering sessions to map business challenges to geospatial and AI‑driven solutions.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in satellite remote sensing, GIS, and AI fields.
  • Create solution briefs, pitch decks, use‑case material, and competitive analysis documents.

Solution Design

  • Lead customer‑facing solution presentations, demos, and technical workshops.
  • Design end‑to‑end solution architectures leveraging SARsatX’s SAR/EO data products, GIS platforms, AI models, cloud services, and data pipelines.
  • Integrate satellite analytics, geospatial workflows, and AI insights into customer‑centric solutions.
  • Develop prototypes and proof‑of‑concept (POC) models validating feasibility and business value.

Technical Demonstrations

  • Deliver compelling presentations and live demos to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Highlight industry‑specific use cases (e.g., environmental monitoring, defense & security, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and smart cities).
  • Showcase SARsatX’s geospatial intelligence capabilities using real‑world scenarios.

Proposal Development

  • Lead the technical components of RFI/RFP responses, including architecture descriptions, compliance matrices, and integration strategies.
  • Support pricing teams by defining solution scope and required technology.
  • Clearly articulate SARsatX’s competitive advantages and value propositions.

Market Awareness

  • Stay updated on advancements in satellite remote sensing (especially SAR), geospatial analytics, and AI/ML technologies.
  • Track competitor offerings and identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Contribute to SARsatX’s thought leadership through insights, whitepapers, and participation in industry events.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements Technical Expertise
  • GIS platforms:
    ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, or equivalent.
  • AI/ML frameworks:
    Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn.
  • Hands‑on experience with remote sensing, SAR/EO data processing, and geospatial analytics.
  • Experience with spatial databases, ETL pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data‑integration tools.
Business & Communication Skills
  • Strong storytelling ability to convert technical capabilities into clear business value.
  • Excellent presentation, demo delivery, and client‑facing communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex geospatial and AI concepts for varied audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales, product, and engineering teams.
Domain Knowledge
