Data Compliance Specialist
We are seeking a Data Compliance Specialist to ensure alignment with NDMO policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements across organizational data processes.
Key Responsibilities- Apply NDMO policies and controls across data assets.
- Perform compliance assessments and audits on data governance, privacy, classification, and security.
- Collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, and Legal/Compliance teams.
- Support data classification, retention, and privacy standards.
- Maintain a compliance register and track remediation activities.
- Assist in implementing Data Governance controls with IT and cybersecurity teams.
- Deliver awareness/training on NDMO and related frameworks.
- Review data-sharing agreements and assess external data transfers.
- Contribute to data policies, procedures, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Stay updated on Personal Data Protection laws.
- Bachelor’s in AI, IT, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- 1–3 years experience in Data Governance/Compliance.
- Preferred certifications: NDMO, DGSP/CDMP, ISO 27001, PDP Awareness.
