Network & Security Lead

Role

Purpose:

Responsible for the management of the entire Enterprise Network Infrastructure, including data, voice communication and security, along with monitoring & control activities to ensure reliability, stability and security of network infrastructure and continuity of related services; and management of assigned project(s).

Key Activities
  • Operation Management
    • Planning, designing, implementing and deploying enterprise-wide secured and scalable network, security and collaboration infrastructure and services (On‑Prem & Cloud) in consultation with Head of Networks & Infrastructure.
    • Monitoring the enterprise-wide network, security and collaboration infrastructure and services; generating and gathering network statistics of relevant domains for effectively maintaining continuity of operations, safeguarding against possible vulnerabilities and capacity planning.
    • Ensuring high availability and continuity of operations for all network, security and collaboration services.
    • Providing advanced technical assistance to networks, systems & security administrators on core solutions.
    • Developing necessary documentation and recording configurations (logical/physical).
  • Preventive Maintenance & Compliance
    • Planning and executing periodic preventive maintenance activities for network, security and collaboration platforms.
    • Ensuring that routine or ad‑hoc preventive maintenance activities are performed timely, in line with governing standards.
    • Managing the life cycle of administrative profiles for relevant domains.
    • Implementing an effective patch and policy management process for all network and security solutions.
    • Scheduling periodic audits of network, security and collaboration systems, coordinating internal and external audits.
    • Adhering to license compliance (Hard/Soft) of concerned domains.
    • Accepting and implementing applicable policies and procedures, including the Information Systems Security Policy.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
    • Developing, documenting, implementing and maintaining a disaster recovery plan for enterprise networks, security and collaboration infrastructure.
    • Managing backup processes, including backup through different modes for devices and appliances, and restoration activities for the concerned domains.
    • Performing services restoration activities in the event of a disaster or outage, conducting root‑cause analysis (RCA) of incidents and deploying permanent fixes.
    • Carrying out periodic and planned drill tests for the concerned domains and documenting results.
  • People, Project & Initiative Management
    • Leading and supervising the team of Network Administrators, including work scheduling, prioritization, monitoring and providing technical assistance for assigned project(s).
    • Assisting the Head of Networks & Infrastructure in carrying out project management activities for major projects and initiatives.
    • Managing, guiding and assisting direct reports to perform functional operations in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Promoting a high‑performance working environment and the organization's values.
  • Service Desk
    • Reviewing the helpdesk system statistics and performance of concerned ICT staff.
    • Monitoring user complaints, problems or errors and providing timely resolutions of assigned service desk tickets.
  • Job Specifications
    • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience administering and managing Enterprise Network, Security and Collaboration implementations.
    • Relevant certification (preferably CCNP, CCIE, Fortinet NSE, or Avaya).
    • Excellent technical knowledge of core solutions: NGFW, Proxy, IDS/IPS, WAF, NAC, DLP.
    • Certification or courses on Next‑Gen security firewalls and CCSP is a value‑add.
    • CISSP/CISM certification preferred.
