SAP Basis Consultant

Overview

Müller s Solutions is looking for a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. This role will involve the administration, maintenance, and support of our clients  SAP systems, ensuring optimum performance and reliability of the SAP landscape. You will be part of a talented team dedicated to providing high-quality SAP services to our clients.

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP environments, including development, test, and production systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of SAP systems
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as necessary
• Utilize SAP tools for transport management and client administration
• Implement and manage system backups and recovery plans to safeguard client data
• Collaborate with functional teams to support new system implementations and migrations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes
• Participate in on-call support rotations to address urgent system issues

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
• Strong understanding of SAP installations, configurations, and system monitoring
• Familiarity with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP HANA
• Experience with operating systems like Linux and Windows as they relate to SAP environments
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail to troubleshoot complex issues
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when needed
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) are preferred but not mandatory
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new SAP technologies and best practices
