This pivotal role involves leading the exploration and integration of cutting‑edge technologies that will define the future of entertainment, culture, and tourism in Saudi Arabia. You will spearhead initiatives to identify, evaluate, and implement groundbreaking technologies that enhance the visitor experience and operational efficiency across our projects.

As the Director, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop a strategic vision for emerging technologies, ensuring that Qiddiya remains at the forefront of innovation in the entertainment and leisure sector. You will also play a critical role in fostering partnerships with technology leaders and research institutions, ensuring that we harness the best talent and insights in the industry.

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies that align with Qiddiya’s goals, including fields such as AI, IoT, virtual reality, and advanced robotics.
• Develop a comprehensive strategy for integrating these technologies into existing and future projects, enhancing operational capabilities and visitor engagement.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, technology vendors, and internal teams, to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Lead pilot projects and proof‑of‑concept initiatives to test and validate new technologies before broader implementation.
• Monitor and assess industry trends to identify potential threats and opportunities for Qiddiya regarding emerging technology.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the organization by encouraging collaboration, creativity, and experimentation with new ideas.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management outlining technology trends, project progress, and recommended actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards when implementing new technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in technology management, innovation strategy, or related fields, with a focus on emerging technologies.
• Strong track record of successfully delivering technology projects in complex, dynamic environments.
• In‑depth knowledge of industry trends in emerging technologies, particularly those relevant to entertainment and tourism.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a high level of creativity and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Ability to communicate complex technology concepts clearly to various audiences, including non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing cross‑functional teams and driving collaborative initiatives.
