Oracle PL/SQL Database Developer – Capital Markets / Trading Systems

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Database Developer to join one of our financial services / capital markets clients
. This role is ideal for professionals with strong exposure to trading systems, Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL), and short selling platforms
.

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
• Enhance and support SBL (Securities Borrowing & Lending) modules
• Contribute to strategic initiatives related to short selling platforms
• Work closely with business analysts and architects to deliver trading solutions
• Optimize database performance for high-volume trading transactions
• Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and validation across trading systems
• Support integrations between front-office, back-office, and settlement systems
• Participate in agile development, code reviews, testing, and deployments

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database / PL/SQL Developer
• Strong experience in capital markets / trading systems
• Hands‑on expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, performance tuning
• Solid understanding of SBL, short selling, and settlement workflows
• Experience integrating databases with trading and post‑trade systems

• Experience with FIX, SWIFT, ISO 15022 / ISO 20022
• Exposure to ETL, Data Warehousing, or BI tools
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in trading environments
