The design system specialist will act as the guardian of design consistency across Fly Akeed’s digital products. This role is critical in ensuring that the design language is scalable, reusable, and harmonized between design and engineering. The specialist will build, document, and maintain the design system while championing accessibility, responsiveness, and user‑centered standards across teams.

• Create, document, and maintain the design system including components, tokens, and guidelines.
• Ensure alignment and smooth collaboration between design and engineering teams.
• Define and enforce accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards.
• Provide guidance, onboarding, and training for teams adopting the system.
• Continuously evolve the design system to meet product needs and support scaling efforts.
• Monitor adoption and identify opportunities to optimize workflows across design and development.

• Deep expertise in Figma component libraries and tokens.
• Familiarity with front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Excellent attention to detail and systems thinking mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in SaaS, travel tech, or scaling digital products is a plus.
