Power BI Developer

Overview

Master-Works is seeking a skilled and passionate Power BI Developer to join our innovative analytics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into insightful visualizations, enabling stakeholders to make informed business decisions. You will collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data models that drive operational efficiency and business growth.

• Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively communicate insights from complex datasets.
• Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple data sources into Power BI.
• Optimize Power BI performance by implementing best practices in data modeling and report design.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing processes.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the value of Power BI solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continually improve our BI offerings.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with DAX for creating calculations and measures in Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Understanding of data visualization best practices and design principles.
