AI Engineer
Company Overview
Our client based in Riyadh, is the technology arm of one of the largest and most influential international holding groups in the Middle East, with a diversified portfolio spanning government, finance, infrastructure, technology, and strategic investments. Its technology division has been established as a strategic growth engine for advanced digital and AI‑driven platforms, working in close partnership with Saudi government entities to deliver mission‑critical systems that modernise public services, improve decision‑making, and enable smarter, more connected solutions across sectors such as justice and healthcare.
In this environment, senior technologists are trusted to build at national scale, not experiments.
- Design and deliver advanced AI and large language model–based solutions capable of analysing, interpreting, and synthesising large and complex datasets.
- Contribute to the development of AI‑enabled platforms supporting government and healthcare initiatives, including judicial decision support and clinical diagnostic advisory use cases.
- Work closely with internal teams, senior leadership, and government stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Apply research, academic, or advanced industry experience to build production‑grade AI systems with clear real‑world and national impact.
- Define and influence system architecture and technical direction, selecting appropriate technologies and frameworks based on the problem being solved rather than fixed technology stacks.
- Operate as a senior individual contributor, setting technical standards and best practices without formal people‑management responsibilities.
- Review existing work already underway, assessing what can be carried forward, refined, or rebuilt to support long‑term scalability and commercialisation.
- Minimum 15+ years of professional experience, with recent experience working in AI, machine learning, or large language model–based systems.
- Strong background in AI, data science, machine learning, or advanced computational research, with evidence of real‑world application.
- Experience building production‑grade systems, not purely academic or theoretical work.
- Ability to operate effectively in unstructured, early‑stage environments where requirements evolve.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- This role offers the opportunity to work at the start of nationally significant AI platforms, with the potential for these initiatives to evolve into long‑term commercial ventures.
- Successful candidates will be positioned at the forefront of an emerging technology ecosystem, contributing to projects with lasting impact for the future.
- Highly competitive salary, designed to attract top‑tier global AI talent.
- Full relocation support, including visas for family members.
- Education allowance for children.
- Comprehensive health insurance (including family coverage).
- Annual bonus (structure to be confirmed).
This is a rare opportunity to build AI platforms with national impact, backed by serious capital, real authority, and the freedom to build at scale.
