Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - IT Security Design to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. In this role, you will assist in developing and implementing effective security designs and architectures to safeguard our information systems and resources. You will work closely with the IT and security management teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support IT Security Design initiatives by contributing to solution architecture, developing HLDs/LLDs, and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity standards serving Qiddiya’s corporate and its Assets

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement secure design principles across IT/OT security.
  • Develop and contribute to HLDs/LLDs for security solutions.
  • Assist with vendor assessments and evaluations.
  • Conduct technical analysis to support solution design.
  • Maintain and update the design repository.
  • Ensure compliance alignment during design reviews.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and project teams to ensure IT/OT security.
  • Define and document security design standards and patterns.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to meet IT/OT requirements.
  • Ensure all designs and implementaion are comply with the regulatory requirements (e.g., NCA, ECC, ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
  • Review the the undergoing projects in order to enhance and comply with the regulatory and Qiddiya cyber security issue enhancement.
  • Provide technical guidance on security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Work with incident response teams to improve system design based on lessons learned from security incidents.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, trends, and technologies in IT/OT security.
  • Handle department projects including activities and implementation within change management procedures
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in IT security, system administration, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are a plus.
