Next Era is seeking a dynamic Microsoft 365 Architect to lead the design, governance, and lifecycle management of our Microsoft 365 platform—Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, One Drive for Business, and SharePoint Online—driving performance, security, and user experience across our enterprise collaboration stack.

Help us build and run a secure, high‑performing Microsoft 365 estate as we scale from ~50 to ~550 users. If you love owning services end‑to‑end—operations, security, governance, and user experience—this role is for you.

Service Operations
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 workloads:
    Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, One Drive for Business, SharePoint Online
    .
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and a great user experience across services.
  • Drive smooth onboarding as we scale the environment and the user base.
Exchange Online
  • Policy management (retention, litigation hold), anti‑spam/phishing protection & reporting.
Microsoft Teams
  • Teams creation & lifecycle management, governance (naming, guest access), compliance.
  • Call quality monitoring & troubleshooting; integrations with SharePoint/One Drive.
One Drive for Business
  • User provisioning & quota management, sync issue resolution, data recovery & retention enforcement.
SharePoint Online
  • Light customization (lists, libraries, basic workflows) with governance & compliance.
Security & Compliance
  • Implement & tune Microsoft Defender for Office 365
    , Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Enforce MFA and Conditional Access with Azure AD (Entra ).
User Support & Service Desk
  • Deliver L1/L2 (and coordinate L3) support via the ticketing system.
  • Meet SLA‑based response/resolution targets; optionally enable end‑user training & adoption.
Monitoring & Reporting
  • Health monitoring for M365 services; usage/adoption analytics and dashboards.
  • Lead monthly service performance reviews with stakeholders.
Change & Configuration Management
  • Implement approved changes (policies, features), document configurations, maintain version control & rollback plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for M365, coordinate with IT and business teams.
  • Oversee onboarding & adoption, drive governance & best practices, manage escalations & stakeholder reporting.
Backup & Recovery
  • Apply data retention policies and assist with restores (e.g., deleted items).
Managed Services Scope
  • Administration & configuration, user & license management, group & mailbox management, Teams & SharePoint site provisioning.
Support Model
  • 24/7 reactive support for M365 E5 services & security for end users in KSA, plus proactive advisory/health checks and enhancement recommendations.
  • Monthly reporting against actual support‑hours consumption.
Education & Work Experience
  • 10 years in Microsoft 365 architecture, administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
