Our dedicated Cost Management Team at RLB KSA is responsible for seeing a project through from the initial concept stages to completion. Their main task is to break down projects into stages, take responsibility for monitoring and managing the programme, cost, quality and risk of each stage of the project. Our Cost Managers work in close contact with clients, advising them on all financial matters, project risks, procurement and contract matters using our depth of experience to provide an informed opinion and solutions.

Overview of role:

RLB is recruiting a Data Analyst who will be responsible for data management, analytics and dashboard reporting development for large‑scale construction projects, based in Riyadh, KSA. The role supports flagship projects’ cost planning, estimating and commercial reporting functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain databases and reporting dashboards
  • Develop and maintain data models and governance processes
  • Technical build‑out of Microsoft Power BI (or similar products) dashboards
  • Present dashboards to clients and internal teams
  • Coordinate and prepare presentation material
  • Create processes, workflows and structures around data management
  • Support training of regional personnel, cross‑training and clients’ representatives
  • Determine key metrics, outcomes and develop reports
  • Organise and manage a team repository of key processes, presentations and workflows
  • Coordinate and organise multiple sources of performance data
  • Build data models to support required analysis and reporting

    Translate data to best‑practice data visualisation
  • Develop good working relationships within different client cultures and across multiple project teams
Person specification:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.

  • Degree qualified in Data Analytics / Data Science (or Quantity Surveying)
  • Data visualisation expert experienced with data management, analytics and dashboard reporting development
  • Experience in data management and deep dive analysis
  • Experience developing dashboards and other data visualisation projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Power BI)
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming for data analysis, automation and integration
  • Experience applying Machine Learning techniques to enhance predictive analytics and project insights
  • Good organisational skills, ability to multi‑task, prioritise and be a team player
  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to thrive in a client‑facing role
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts and presentations
  • Expected minimum of 6 years’ experience post‑degree qualification
  • A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
