We are looking for a smart and driven Instock Manager Lead to join our Retail team in Egypt, focusing on Analytics & AI. In this role, you will be responsible for leading analytical deep dives, data pipelines, micro-models and partnering with Product/Tech to build AI solutions related to Availability.
The role will have responsibility for identifying opportunities to simplify and automate tasks, ensuring inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business and implementing controls around them. The right candidate thrives in a high-energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.
The successful candidate possesses strong analytical acumen, familiarity with data engineering and scripting on top of AI knowledge such as Deep Learning and GenAI. The position requires an individual who supports decisions in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to details. The candidate continuously learns and contributes to knowledge management.
Roles and Responsibilities- Lead analytical deep dives, develop data pipelines and micro-models to drive availability improvements
- Partner with Product/Tech teams to build AI solutions related to Availability, including Deep Learning and GenAI applications
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate tasks, ensuring inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business and implementing controls around them
- Work with internal teams to drive system, tools and process improvements / implementations that affect purchasing and vendor management workflow, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually
- Develop analysis of key business metrics, with emphasis on developing and executing recommendations for improvement
- Continuously learn and contribute to knowledge management, supporting decisions in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment with strong attention to details
- 3+ years of experience with Excel
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
