Responsibilities:
- Work on the design and implementation of data governance solutions to support the entity’s needs.
- Ensure compliance with data classification systems, data privacy, freedom of information, and data management standards and policies within the department.
- Carry out and spread awareness and knowledge of the data management program across the entity.
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve the quality and trustworthiness of data throughout the entity.
- Implement and establish wider data management competencies within the entity (such as data quality, metadata management, master data management, data modelling, and development of data standards and data strategy)
- Apply data governance to optimize the safety and value of data throughout the data life cycle.
- Identify the risks related to data management and ensure to mitigate the risk.
- Coordinate with IT data representatives regarding technical matters.
Experience:
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Business Administration, or any other relevant degree.
