Systems Engineer, Technical Sales
The Presales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities, channel partner training and enablement with our customer’s business issues and objectives around HPE products and solutions.
The position will be based at our offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Duties & Responsibilities- Providing presales technical support of the sales process across HPE Products and Solutions.
- Cooperating with the Sales Teams in assessing potential application of HPE networking (Aruba & Juniper) products to meet customer’s business needs.
- Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely, at customer locations or other suitable facilities on HPE networking products value proposition.
- Building complex, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process.
- Leveraging product knowledge to provide technical HPE expertise to internal sales Teams, partners and end users.
- Developing customer requirements that map HPE solutions, assisting with overcoming technical and competitive objections, and accelerating technical evaluation component of sales cycle to close deals.
- Leveraging the consultative sales process to prospective users to determine product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process.
- Working on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies.
- Creating formal networks with key decision makers in assigned accounts.
- Serving as an external spokesperson and champion for HPE’s vision and associated technologies.
- University degree in Computer Science or related Engineering subject.
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as Pre‑Sales Engineer in HPE or similar products.
- Strong hands‑on experience with HPE Juniper Networks technologies (routing, switching, SD‑WAN, automation).
- Strong technical knowledge with HPE Aruba technologies.
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, SD WAN, Wi‑Fi, network security and cloud management.
- Relevant Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIP, JNCIE).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and technical engagement skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with vendor Teams.
- Proven self‑starter with the ability to multitask and to set priorities under pressure.
- Client‑focused attitude and a team player.
