Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – IT Security Design to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. In this role, you will assist in developing and implementing effective security designs and architectures to safeguard our information systems and resources. You will work closely with the IT and security management teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support IT Security Design initiatives by contributing to solution architecture, developing high‑level and low‑level design documents, and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity standards serving Qiddiya’s corporate assets.
Responsibilities- Architect technical solutions to facilitate security initiatives, detect, evaluate, and track security vulnerabilities, create, and implement regulations, standards, frameworks, and procedures to reduce and prevent risks to the computing system
- Manage procurement and vendor relations and ensure that requests for proposals are prepared in accordance with established procedures
- Enhance security team accomplishments and competencies by planning the delivery of solutions and answering technical questions
- Plan, research, and design security architecture for IT systems
- Develop, review, and approve installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices
- Determine security protocols by evaluating business strategies and requirements
- Respond to, and investigate, security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses
- Develop project timelines for ongoing system upgrades
- Review system security measures and implement necessary enhancements
- Conduct regular tests and monitoring of network security
- Verify security systems by developing and implementing test scripts
- Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Security, or related field
- 6+ years of experience designing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting firewalls, mail and web gateways, etc.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent certifications
