An exciting opportunity has arisen to join International Systems Engineering (ISE), a BAE Systems majority owned joint venture company, as a Business Analyst based in Riyadh. The successful individual will work across ISE functions and project teams, contributing to the development and growth of ISE in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under Government-to-Government arrangements to provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We maintain Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel on aircraft, equipment, and weapons usage.

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia supports the Saudi National Agenda, including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi national capability through growth of local partner companies, reinforcing industrialisation and partnerships.

As a Business Analyst you’ll shape innovative solutions to problems, underpinned by robust delivery and engineering methods to deliver cutting‑edge capabilities that are essential to the business and customers love to use.

• Shaping and driving solution thinking for complex bids and delivery engagements (contracts worth SARmillion+, overall team sizes of more than 20).
• Working with clients to understand their requirements and providing solutions following a structured methodology appropriate to the project.
• Responsible for making decisions associated with the requirements, their implementation and acceptance.
• Defining solution requirements and working with solution architects to provide scalable and resilient applications.
• Overseeing the implementation of the design in collaboration with other team members such as project managers, solution architects, suppliers, etc.
• Ensuring the design meets key functional and in particular non‑functional requirements, enabling the solution to satisfy through‑life scenarios.
• Makes tactical decisions and prioritises activities associated with the requirements.
• Leads user/customer collaboration throughout all stages of work (i.e., bidding/definition, design, development/implementation and project closure phases).
• Ensures customer’s needs/requirements are met through each work stage.
• Builds appropriate and effective business relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Retaining overall ownership of the solution through delivery and transition into operation.
• Directing estimation efforts to develop an understanding of potential solution costs and delivery timescales.

• Ideally have a university degree in business administration, IT subject or related degree.
• Exposure to TOGAF & ZACHMAN standards.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum and waterfall methodologies.
• Must be able to obtain SC Clearance.

• 8+ years of experience supporting the delivery of medium sized projects, with IM&T digital skillsets (business analysis, systems analysis, development, testing, database & system administration, service delivery, product management, application support, IT management, security, information management).
• Experience in analysis of requirements, conceptual design, advising on scope, options and risks through definition phases in making project proposals.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations and standards used in the development of IT systems.
• Experience in requirements management (customer, derived, etc.) and compliance. Understands the difference between functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Experience in product acceptance testing and handover essential within an IT context.
• Demonstrates creative and innovative thinking in identifying solutions that deliver value for customers/stakeholders.
• Knowledge of product safety, environmental and security in development and delivery of IT solutions.
• Experience with stakeholder/vendor/supplier management and liaison with large and medium sized vendors in support of system and product troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Demonstrates impactful communication skills (oral, written and presentation) in both formal and informal settings, articulating complex ideas to broad audiences.
