The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for driving scalable growth across all digital channels for a mobile‑first app business. The role focuses on performance marketing, mobile attribution accuracy, lifecycle automation, and data‑driven decision‑making. This position requires a highly technical, analytical, and execution‑focused leader who can manage complex integrations, optimize marketing funnels, and ensure measurable impact on acquisition, retention, and revenue.
Job Responsibilities- Own and continuously optimize the full digital marketing funnel across paid and owned channels.
- Lead performance marketing with full accountability for CAC, ROAS, LTV, and overall funnel efficiency.
- Define and manage the attribution strategy using MMPs, primarily Branch.
- Ensure accurate event tracking, deep linking, cohort analysis, and resolve attribution or tracking gaps.
- Lead lifecycle marketing initiatives through Braze, including segmentation, journeys, push notifications, email, and in‑app messaging.
- Design and implement automated programs to drive activation, retention, and reactivation.
- Oversee the integration of marketing platforms, analytics tools, ad networks, and internal systems to ensure reliable data flow.
- Plan, manage, and optimize large‑scale marketing budgets to maximize performance and spend efficiency.
- Build and own dashboards, reporting frameworks, and regular performance reviews, translating data into actionable insights.
- Lead, develop, and manage the digital marketing team while collaborating cross‑functionally and managing external partners and vendors.
- Proven experience in digital marketing within a mobile app company (mandatory).
- Hands‑on experience with Mobile Attribution and MMPs — especially Branch.
- Strong background in CRM/Lifecycle platforms such as Braze.
- Strong understanding of SDKs, data schemas, event tracking, and APIs.
- Ability to manage platform integrations and diagnose technical issues.
- High proficiency in analytics, reporting, and data‑driven optimization.
- Ability to break down complex datasets and influence decisions with insights.
- Ability to set structure, maintain discipline, and drive performance.
