Job OverviewResponsible for daily monitoring, maintenance and improvement of security solutions across Ma’aden’s corporate and affiliate IT and OT assets in Saudi Arabia, India, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa and Mauritius. Works closely with functions to assist the security monitoring program, manages the SOC, maintains threat situational awareness, handles threat intelligence, access management, incident response, forensic investigations and root‑cause analyses.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct cyber security activities to execute the program across all countries.
- Ensure compliance with Ma’aden’s Cyber Security policies for IT/OT systems and administrative procedures.
- Maintain security solutions at perimeter, infrastructure, network, system and database levels.
- Maintain cyber‑threat situational awareness of internal and external threats via monitoring and oversight of security systems.
- Monitor users, applications, networks, systems and access to physical assets.
- Perform periodic review of audit logs and user access across Ma’aden’s registered users.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, security monitoring, detection and reporting.
- Scan, analyze and apply countermeasures of vulnerabilities.
- Detect, analyze and eliminate malicious code.
- Establish and manage incident‑response capabilities, including handling, recovery plans and testing.
- Design and implement processes for detecting, identifying and analysing security events.
- Develop and recovery plans, organise, train and equip teams.
- Execute Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs, coordinate BCP/DRP documentation and liaison with stakeholders.
- Implement and comply with Cyber Security policies in manufacturing environments.
- Participate in design of manufacturing technologies to align with security requirements.
- Build security standards for manufacturing and OT in cooperation with Enterprise Cyber Security team.
- Participate in auditing to ensure policies and best practices are applied.
- Lead performance management, capability building and team productivity.
- Plan, budget and manage Cybersecurity Operations budget and projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with ICT, audit, suppliers, government authorities and affiliates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; advanced degree desirable.
- 8–10 years relevant experience.
- Mixed managerial, analytical and technical skills across cyber security domains.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery and ISO/NIST standards.
- Certifications:
CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001, ISMS Lead Auditor, (ITIL plus). - Good understanding of IT service management practices.
- Operational & Functional: SOC management, threat intel, incident response, BCP/DRP.
- Leadership: performance, capability building, budget management and strategic planning.
- Relationships: ICT alignment, audit, affiliates, vendors, government authorities.
- Competencies:
Technical, Leadership, Safety, Communication.
