Sr Analyst Infrastructure Services

The role involves architecting and managing Linux systems for critical infrastructure, as well as designing and managing AIX servers in pSeries architecture.

• Architect and manage Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, SUSE) for critical infrastructure
• Design and manage AIX server in pSeries architecture, including LPARs, VIO servers, and Power
  
  VM environments
• Automate OS deployments, patching, and configuration using Ansible and Salt Stack
• Integrate Unix systems with security controls and monitoring tools to ensure system compliance to Security standard
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide permanent fixes via root cause analysis of Linux/AIX systems
• Collaborate on DR readiness and participate in high-availability testing
• Provide technical support in infrastructure services, responding to issues and assisting in tasks
• Contribute to the implementation of infrastructure projects and assignments
• Support the development of infrastructure documentation, including incident logs and configuration records
• Apply technical knowledge to address Linux/AIX infrastructure-related challenges
• Follow established best practices and standards in infrastructure service delivery
• Utilize technical skills to address infrastructure issues and incidents

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
• Proficiencies in data analysis and technical knowledge
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

• Advanced knowledge of Linux OS internals and kernel tuning
• Expertise in AIX OS, Power
  
  HA, Power
  
  VM, NIM, and VIO servers
• Experience with virtualization (KVM, VMware) and hybrid infrastructure
• LEAN methodologies
• Knowledge management
• Awareness of CIS hardening, log forwarding, and SIEM integration
• Proficient in security compliance standards and OS-level auditing
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet or similar automation tools
• Experience in setting up Linux Centralized management tool (Red Hat Satellite/SUSE Manager) and patch management
• Good knowledge of hybrid IT environments

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications, such as Linux / AIX Certifications
• Familiarity with Openshift/Kubernetes.
