About the job: SERVICENOW DEVELOPER
JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement solutions on the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on development experience, a solid understanding of IT service management processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, develop, and customize Service Now applications and modules.
- Configure and develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and Script Includes.
- Develop and maintain Service Now integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Customize Service Now forms, fields, tables, and CMDB structures.
- Support implementation and enhancement of Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, Sec Ops, or CSM.
- Perform platform upgrades, patching, and version testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance problems.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Service Now best practices and development standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
- Provide post‑implementation support and continuous improvements.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on Service Now development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and Service Now scripting.
- Proven experience with Service Now workflows, Flow Designer, and Automation.
- Hands‑on experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and service management concepts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Service Now CSA, CAD, or CIS certifications.
- Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Exposure to Service Now Discovery, Service Mapping, or Event Management.
- Experience in managed services or large enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of CMDB data models and best practices.
