Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Telco Delivery Lead with deep expertise in Business Support Systems (BSS), Enterprise Support Systems (ESS), and Operational Support Systems (OSS) to join our Delivery team. This role is pivotal in driving large‑scale digital transformation initiatives for leading telecommunications providers, with a strong focus on application modernization, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑functional transformations.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define business requirements, solution architecture, and delivery roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks using waterfall, agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Oversee the integration and modernization of telco applications such as CRM, billing, order management, service assurance, and provisioning systems.
  • Ensure delivery excellence across multiple work streams, coordinating cross‑functional teams including solution architects, developers, testers, and business analysts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on application transformation, digital enablement, and operational optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, leveraging automation, Dev Ops, and AI/ML where applicable.
  • Lead the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities into telco application ecosystems (e.g., BSS/OSS), enabling intelligent automation, personalized customer interactions, and enhanced operational insights.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design and deploy GenAI-powered solutions such as virtual agents, intelligent ticket triaging, automated knowledge management, and AI‑driven customer journey orchestration.
  • Support business development by contributing to solutioning, proposals, and client presentations for new opportunities in the telco application space.
  • Monitor and report on delivery KPIs, ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and capability building within the delivery team.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • 15+ years of experience in telecommunications IT delivery, with a strong focus on BSS/OSS/ESS applications.
  • Proven track record of delivering large‑scale transformation programs in telco environments.
  • Deep understanding of telco application domains such as: BSS: CRM, billing, revenue management, customer experience platforms.
  • OSS:
    Service fulfillment, assurance, network inventory, orchestration.
  • ESS: ERP, HR, finance, and enterprise‑wide platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Experience with agile delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and Dev Ops practices.
  • Experience with AI/ML use cases in telco (e.g., predictive maintenance, customer churn, intelligent automation).
  • Familiarity with cloud‑native architectures, microservices, and API‑driven integration.
