Job Summary
Chef de Partie - Fine Dining role at IHG Hotels & Resorts (Kimpton Riyadh). This description consolidates responsibilities and requirements for the position.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Design and curate a diverse international menu, incorporating flavors and techniques from various global cuisines.
- Food Preparation: Skillfully prepares and cooks a variety of international dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and liaise with suppliers to source the finest and freshest ingredients. Manage food costs and minimize waste through effective planning and forecasting.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and sanitation. Implement and uphold strict food safety protocols in compliance with local health regulations.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations and enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in training and mentoring junior staff in international culinary techniques.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a culinary role, with at least 1 year as a Chef de Partie or similar position specializing in international cuisine. GCC exposure is preferred.
- Education: Culinary degree or equivalent professional training from a recognized institution.
- Skills: Exceptional culinary skills with a deep understanding of various international cooking techniques and ingredients. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Languages: English fluency is required. Arabic fluency preferred.
- Attributes: Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about global culinary arts. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing guest preferences.
- Work Environment: The role is based in a luxury hotel, known for delivering unparalleled hospitality and offering diverse dining options.
