The Role
We are looking for candidates that have experience of handling luxury goods & have worked within a quality control environment. An eye for detail & reviewing items with extreme care are key to this role. Good technical understanding of garment finishing, construction and measurements. The role involves thorough inspection of garments and accessories.
Responsibilities- Review all incoming items according to set guidelines to determine acceptable and unacceptable conditions.
- Inspect conditions and measure, clean, prepare and record product details.
- Assist Clothing & Accessories Authenticators with authenticity & quality check.
- Assist internal teams in handling client requests about condition grading specifications.
- Maintain a seamless flow of communication with multiple departments including photography, web content and customer service.
- Assist Clothing Authenticators in the authentication process and in building acceptable condition guides and grading range.
- At least 1 to 2 years of clothing experience in luxury clothing in‑store sales or manufacturing of high‑end clothing, or a fresh fashion graduate with a keen eye willing to learn and perform.
- Good understanding of garment construction and clothing terminology.
- Education – preferably a major in garment construction & pattern making.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational & time‑management skills and acute attention to detail.
- Independent, patient, responsible and embracing a positive work attitude.
- Smart and fast learner.
- Capable of working under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment.
- Working with physical items & multitasking.
- Can‑do attitude, with a strong teamwork orientation.
- MS Office expertise:
Word and Excel. - Extremely reliable and trustworthy.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week.
- Experience working with luxury fashion brands is a plus.
- Preferably a NIFT graduate, strong understanding of garment construction & pattern making.
