We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain backend services for the Fan-. This role plays a key part in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that support complex integrations, real-time operations, and high-traffic live-event scenarios

The ideal candidate has strong experience in modern backend architectures
, microservices
, and integration-heavy platforms
, with proven exposure to headless CMS platforms such as Sitecore
.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for the Fan-
• Lead backend development and integrations using modern technologies and frameworks
• Ensure backend services are robust, secure, and scalable
  , supporting peak traffic during live events
• Contribute to defining backend architecture and technical standards
• Design and build robust integration layers using modern web frameworks
• Work with microservices, event-driven architectures, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns
• Develop and maintain applications using JavaScript / Type Script and modern frameworks
• Build API-first services and BFF layers to support:
  • React-based web applications
  • Server-side rendering where applicable
• Integrate with headless CMS platforms
  , including Sitecore (content delivery, personalization where applicable)
• Integrate with external systems, including:
  • Multi-vendor, vendor-agnostic ticketing engines
  • CMS platforms (Sitecore and others)
  • CRM platforms
  • Identity and access management (IAM) providers
  • Payments, travel, and partner services
• Implement business logic, validation, and service orchestration
• Ensure backend and BFF layers are modular, maintainable, and testable
• Plan and conduct integration-focused testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  , including:
  • Postman / Newman
  • Playwright or Cypress
  • Jest (frontend testing)
  • k6 or JMeter (API and integration performance testing)

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer in production environments
• Strong experience with backend technologies such as:
  • .NET Core
    , Node.js
    , Java
    , or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Azure-native services
  , including:
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized backend services
  • Azure API Management (APIM) for API exposure, security, throttling, and governance
  • Azure Event Grid and event‑driven integration patterns
  • Azure-based authentication, networking, and monitoring services
• Proven experience building Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers supporting React-based applications
• Strong understanding of:
  • Secure session handling, tokens, cookies, and browser storage
  • Authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and SSO
  • Caching strategies, CDN-friendly architectures, and graceful-degradation patterns
• Hands-on experience building integration-heavy web applications in real production environments
• Proven experience with JavaScript / Type Script and modern web frameworks such as React
• Must-have: Proven experience integrating headless CMS platforms
  , including Sitecore
• Experience with cloud-hosted backend platforms on Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
