We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our Team, where you’ll design and build the critical infrastructure that powers thousands of merchants and high‑traffic marketplaces.

This role is for an engineer who enjoys solving hard problems
, designing scalable systems
, and taking full ownership of production‑grade backend services.

• Contribute to core platform capabilities that power merchants, marketplaces, and integrations.

• Design and optimize Postgre
  
  SQL and MySQL schemas for reliability and scale.
• Tune queries and data models to support high‑throughput, low‑latency systems.

• Build secure, well‑structured RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure services are scalable, maintainable, and production‑ready.

• Monitor system performance, debug complex production issues, and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Improve system observability, resilience, and fault tolerance.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code quality, best practices, and technical documentation.
• Participate in architectural discussions and long‑term technical decisions.

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
• PHP / Laravel
• Python / Django

• Strong proficiency in Postgre
  
  SQL and MySQL
  , including schema design and optimization.
• Solid experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
  .
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles
  , security, and performance best practices.
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience building eCommerce or SaaS platforms
  .
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Exposure to payments, inventory, or order management systems
  .
• Experience with high‑availability systems
  , load balancing, and scaling strategies.
• Familiarity with containers, message queues, and monitoring/observability tools
  .
