Job Summary: Join our software development team as Junior Java Microservices Developer and contribute to backend development initiatives that support our business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing scalable microservices solutions while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, reliable software.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, coding, and modifying software systems that are focused on logistics.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Participate in requirement analysis and basic system design discussions.
• Work with the internal and external business users to understand the requirements as and when appropriate.
• Support development of microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Work with team members to ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Learn and apply best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Research technical details and solve challenging issues.
• Work with team leads to keep track of the project plan and timeline.
• Work with front‑end & back‑end developers to deliver products on time with quality.
• Work with testers to address product issues and get the product tested.
• Work with the build and release team to get the products hosted in an appropriate hosting environment.
• Work with product owners and service teams to solve reported issues.

Qualifications:

• Qualifications:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0‑2+ years of experience in Java development.
• Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices concepts.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle), Mongo
  
  DB, Elasticsearch and Redis.
• Familiarity with popular frameworks, such as Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
• Exposure to version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Knowledge of agile development practices and cloud environments.
• Independent and able to work in a fast‑paced ever‑changing environment.
• Experience in understanding and effectively communicating user requirements.
• Implementing functional and solutions‑oriented software in a quick and agile environment.
• Willingness to learn containerization (Docker) and cloud basics (AWS/GCP).
• Nice to have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes & Kafka.
• Working knowledge of Logistics industry will add great value.
• Must be able to work from operation locations as per business needs.
