Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; BJJ Coach

The BJJ Coach is responsible for delivering high-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training to members of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. The coach will promote the UFC Gym brand, ensure a safe and motivating training environment, and contribute to the growth of the martial arts program by fostering member engagement, retention, and progression.

• Deliver structured BJJ classes for adults and/or youth, following UFC Gym standards and curriculum.
• Teach fundamental and advanced techniques, including takedowns, submissions, sweeps, escapes, and positional control.
• Adapt coaching style to suit beginners, recreational practitioners, and competitive athletes.
• Provide one-on-one or small group private training sessions upon request.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that motivates members to train consistently.
• Monitor member progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote upcoming classes, seminars, and in-house competitions to encourage participation.
• Ensure all training activities are conducted safely, with proper warm-ups and injury prevention protocols.
• Maintain mat cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
• Enforce proper attire, behavior, and discipline on the mats in line with UFC Gym policies.
• Assist in developing special programs, such as beginner courses, women’s-only sessions, and youth training camps.
• Collaborate with management to organize seminars, grading events, and community outreach.
• Contribute to marketing efforts by participating in promotional activities, social media content, and brand representation.

• Proven competitive and/or coaching experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
• Minimum purple belt rank (black belt preferred) from a recognized BJJ organization.
• Strong instructional, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse age groups and fitness levels.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Experience teaching in a commercial gym or martial arts academy.
• Knowledge of other martial arts (e.g., MMA, wrestling, judo) is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Arabic preferred but not mandatory.
