Job Description Heavy Equipment Operators

Operators must be trained and experienced with both wheel-based and track-based machinery, including:

• Loaders
• Excavators
• Bobcats
• Forklifts

They must be capable of working in ship holds, tight spaces, open yards, and warehouse environments.

• Understanding of traffic flow and port logistics
• Experience managing truck movement during congestion
• Excellent communication skills in English and commonly spoken port languages (e.g., Urdu)
• Literacy and strong math skills for documentation and reporting

• Relevant experience in port, warehouse, logistics, or industrial environments
• Ability to work in challenging spaces (tight areas, ship holds, open yards, etc.)
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them strictly
• Basic literacy skills (reading, writing, documentation)
• Ability to understand and follow instructions clearly
• Physical fitness to handle long working hours and outdoor conditions
• Good communication skills (English; additional languages like Urdu are an advantage)
• Teamwork and coordination abilities
• Problem-solving skills for handling on-ground situations
• Attention to detail for accurate reporting and safe operation
• Preferred: Indian candidates currently
