American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg rotating shift position requiring remote telemetry experience and an active MN license.

Requirements

Active RN license (MN only, compact not accepted)
BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
3+ years of Med Surg experience required
Remote telemetry experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations required
Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
2 supervisory references with employment dates required
MN DHS Background Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions

Responsibilities

Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
Level 1 Trauma center with Level II pediatric trauma and Level III NICU designations
Adult and geriatric patient population
Epic EMR used
Rotating 12-hour shifts covering both days and nights
36-hour weekly guarantee
Required to work every 3rd weekend
No on-call requirements
Floating required
Provide holistic nursing care across the lifecycle, from neonates to older adults, based on assigned unit
Develop and revise patient care plans, coordinate care among disciplines, and delegate tasks appropriately
Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code
Required to work some holidays

RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and may not be honored after submission
Strict compliance deadline for required documentation by 4pm the Wednesday before start date, with no exceptions
